Our products should be installed on a levelled surface to ensure that the product base is evenly supported. Uneven installation will cause tension stress that can lead to cracks and fractures.
How to handle Cretekala Packaged Products?
We offer two types of packaging boxes as a standard: Wooden and corrugated. Kindly consider the following:
- Prioritize safety by assessing the weight of the box and organizing suitable manpower, forklifts, or cranes for lifting.
- Verify the nomenclatures displayed on the box before proceeding.
- For wooden boxes: Utilize a crowbar to gently open the upper lid.
Ensure hands are thoroughly cleaned to prevent stains.
Lift the product with care and relocate it to the designated area.
Remove the bubble wrap, completing the relocation process. - During any handling procedures, remember to wrap the product with bubble wrap to prevent stains or damages.

What are the key considerations before finalizing an order with Cretekala for handling and installation?
Before placing your order with Cretekala, it’s essential to ensure that all of the following is addressed:
- Double-check the weight of the product to ensure proper handling and installation arrangements.
- Make sure that the lift’s opening and depth are sufficient to accommodate the packaged product, if it has to be taken to higher floor.
- Verify that the door opening is wide enough to facilitate smooth delivery.
- Assess whether there is adequate space for a crane or a large vehicle to unload and position the product at the intended location.
- Review the order docket make sure it matches the size, finish, and colour and form requirement.
How to install cretekala small items/ basins?
Before placing your Cretekala product, it’s essential to ensure that all of the following is addressed:
- Remove from the box and place into desired position.
- Check there is adequate clearance for taps and drainage.
- Never rest your item on a corner.
- Once position has been checked, remove the item and apply small dobs of any silicon type adhesive (thai is marked suitable for concrete). Do not over apply adhesive.
- Install the waste fitting with a continuous bead of silicon.
- Install tap as per tap instructions.
- Do not over tight waste fitings or taps. Waste fitings should be hand tightened only.
- Protect the surface/ cover the surface with bubble wrap during tiling and painting.
