Understanding Concrete before your purchase.

Cretekala Concrete products are comprised of a natural material. Each piece has a visual patina, colour variation, pin-holing (surface holes) and surface variation. These characteristics have no bearing on the structural integrity of the concrete piece. Cretekala colours, feel, and aesthetic can look different in photos and it is suggested to purchase sample pieces prior to manufacture to ensure you are comfortable with your product.

What should I use to clean my concrete products?

For gentle cleaning, follow below steps
1. Wear gloves to protect your hands during cleaning process
2.Use microfiber cloth to dust and remove particles from product
3. Soak the diluted soap water and rub it on surface focusing on removing dust
4. Rinse the cloth and then wipe the surface of the product to remove soap residue
5. Use a dry cloth to wipe surface.
6. Use polish wax on a sponge and rub it evenly on the surface of the product.
7. Wipe it dry with a cloth and allow it to air dry for 2-3 hours

Products with high PH levels and harsh abrasives, such as bleach, should be avoided since they may cause the product to become easily marked.

What do I do if my concrete gets scratched or damaged?

While every Cretekala Concrete product is sealed with the best penetrative sealer to prevent marking and surface damage, we know things can happen! In the unlikely event that your product is marked, please get in touch with our friendly team who can help with the next steps.

What is the Lead time?

What if my product is damaged in transit?

Cretekala safely packages all products for transport. This is a process we take very seriously. The product is packaged safely in wooden box specially made, with expanded bubble packaging, and polyfoam. The products are very safe in transit, something Cretekala is very proud of. If at all there is any damage, kindly intimate us within 2 days of receiving your order and we can either service or replace it, depending on the extent of the damage.

Are there any limitations to Cretekala's customization abilities?


Cretekala aims to accommodate diverse requests, but some constraints may apply due to technical, material, or aesthetic considerations. Clients are encouraged to consult with Cretekala early on in the planning stage to discover the possibilities.

What colours and finishes are available?

When creating custom pieces, we can collaborate with you to achieve a specific style and feel for your project or piece, such as a specific colour, finish and texture

One of the best seller finish we have is rammed earth finish, which mimics an authentic earthy look.

Do you offer site visits or measure-and-quote?

We do all our initial quoting based on plans or sketches that you provide to us.

Almost all of our projects, are completed through drawings submitted to us by the client, without the need of a site visit. Mainly, because of the accuracy of manufacturing that we are able to provide.
Once an order is placed we will conduct site visits and measure-ups subject to the complexity of the order and location

What are the prerequisites before I place my order with Cretekala?

Before placing your order with Cretekala, it’s essential to ensure that all of the following is addressed:

  1. Double-check the weight of the product to ensure proper handling and installation arrangements.
  2. Make sure that the lift’s opening and depth are sufficient to accommodate the packaged product, if it has to be taken to higher floor.
  3. Verify that the door opening is wide enough to facilitate smooth delivery.
  4. Assess whether there is adequate space for a crane or large vehicle to unload and position the product at the intended location.
  5. Review the order docket make sure it matches the size, finish, and colour and form requirement.
What kind of products do you stock, I’m on a tight deadline?

If you find yourself on a tight deadline, we offer a selection of readily available products to meet your needs promptly. Our current stock includes a minimum of10 planters of each design and some furniture, basin pieces.
